This security release contains solutions for 3 low severity security vulnerabilities reported to us since the 4.8.3 release ( DNN 2008-8-L, DNN 2008-9-L, DNN 2008-10-L ). As per our policy, you can read the security bulletins on our Security Policy page:

After dogfooding the package over the past week on dotnetnuke.com and experiencing no compatibility issues, we promoted it for public release today.
